U&C Signs Contract to Supply Reconnaissance Drones to the U.S. Army in Europe

The Czech UAV manufacturer U&C UAS announces the signing of an international contract to supply advanced unmanned aerial systems to U.S. Army units stationed in Europe. The agreement is aimed at strengthening allied defense capabilities and enhancing security across the European continent, where the deployment of modern drone systems is becoming a critical element of deterrence and protection.

In partnership with @ATP Gov, a U.S. government contractor, U&C will supply specialized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) under contract to support intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions for U.S. operations in Europe. The UAV systems will play a key role in enhancing the protection of U.S. military bases across the European continent.

The agreement follows the successful evaluation of U&C’s reconnaissance drone system during military exercises simulating modern high-intensity conflict scenarios. The platform demonstrated strong reliability, operational efficiency, and the ability to perform effectively in conditions close to real combat operations.

“Our valued customer praised our ability to provide critical ISR capabilities, offering long-endurance surveillance and real-time data to significantly enhance situational awareness. Our UAV system is a versatile reconnaissance tool and a robust solution, capable of meeting the rigorous demands of modern military missions,” said David Jirman, CCO of U&C UAS.

Following the exercises, U.S. Army representatives noted that U&C’s unmanned solutions enhance existing ISR capabilities by providing long-endurance surveillance and real-time intelligence transmission. These capabilities are essential for improving situational awareness and enabling rapid operational response amid growing security challenges in Europe.

Minister of Defence Visits U&C in Kolín

Today, U&C welcomed an important guest at its Kolín facility — Minister of Defence Jaromír Zůna. During the visit, he was introduced to the company’s production processes. U&C is one of the rapidly growing manufacturers of unmanned systems in Europe and is actively expanding into international markets, including NATO and EU countries, as well as the USA.

Since 2023, U&C has been specializing in the development and production of advanced unmanned solutions. The company’s portfolio covers both defense and civilian applications. A key advantage of its military systems is their high resistance to electronic warfare, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging environments.

During the visit, the Minister observed the full production cycle — from drone construction to final assembly and shipment. The company’s portfolio includes several types of unmanned systems, including the Stork LR, Stork 1000, and the Mace system. In addition, U&C is currently developing the Chaser interceptor, designed to neutralize hostile drones.

U&C is largely self-sufficient in its production and continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The current capacity allows for the production of up to 300 drones per month in continuous operation. At the same time, the company is actively strengthening its presence not only in Europe but also in other strategic markets.

As part of its cooperation initiatives, U&C has also established a partnership with the University of Defence in Brno, focusing on knowledge sharing, research, and training support.

During his visit, the Minister of Defence highly appreciated the company’s technological level and its importance for the future of the defense industry. He emphasized the growing role of unmanned systems in modern conflicts and their strategic importance for national and allied security.

U&C UAS expands its international presence and signs new contracts with partners in the EU and NATO

European company U&C UAS s.r.o., specializing in the development and production of advanced unmanned systems, announces the expansion of its international operations and the conclusion of a number of new contracts with foreign partners.
As part of its global development strategy, the company has signed cooperation and supply agreements with partners in member states of the European Union and NATO.

The concluded contracts provide for the delivery of unmanned aerial systems for various applications, their adaptation to customer requirements, operator training, technical support, and the development of long-term technological partnerships.

Expansion of Global Presence

The new agreements confirm the growing international competitiveness of U&C UAS and reflect sustained demand for European solutions in the field of unmanned and robotic systems.

In 2026, U&C plans to further expand its presence in stable partner countries aligned with EU and NATO standards, reinforcing its long-term global development strategy. The company is currently conducting negotiations with potential partners and government institutions in several countries of the region regarding the supply of unmanned systems, the establishment of service infrastructure, and the launch of joint technological projects. Expansion into these regions is viewed as a strategic step within the company’s broader global expansion and export diversification strategy.

The company emphasizes that all international cooperation is carried out strictly within applicable legal frameworks and under the supervision of competent state authorities.

Strategic Priority — Europe and Support for Ukraine

Despite the expansion of its international activities, the company’s strategic priority remains strengthening the defence capabilities of the European Union and supporting Ukraine.

During the period of the full-scale war, with the support of public institutions, the company implemented initiatives under which the Defence Forces of Ukraine received hundreds of reconnaissance unmanned systems free of charge, with a total value amounting to tens of millions of euros. These systems are currently deployed in combat operations, directly contributing to the protection of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
